Construction/Development
From our home base in Cincinnati, Ohio we have successfully completed over 4,000 new multifamily, senior, and farm worker housing units and have a broad range of construction experience including new and renovated multifamily residential, senior living, healthcare, commercial, industrial, retail, and tenant improvement projects. Many of our projects have consisted of one to four stories of residential over commercial/retail space with underground parking, with a majority of the construction projects we build being negotiated with repeat customers.
Construction Services
Initial Team Meeting
The team generally consists of the estimator, project manager, and in some cases superintendent, who will review progress sets of drawings and specifications so that early challenges or opportunities can be identified and that the intent of project can be addressed.
Review of Constructability
Reviewing the impact of overall construction design and how it relates to the cost and scheduling of the project (i.e. existing site conditions, project layout, site constraints, phasing of the work, and design conflicts.)
Budgeting
Develop the preliminary construction budget using data and expertise from current and past projects.
Value Engineering
Develop a list for review with the project team, and provide options for review that may present long and short term cost savings.
Identify Potential Subcontractors and Vendors
We accomplish this by utilizing our current extended list of subcontractors and vendors as well as seeking out new bidders with a focus on experience and capability and also to seek out local minority subcontractors to accommodate project scope.
Attend Neighborhood Meetings
Meet with the public, owners, city officials, and project team to provide construction related input as may be required to progress the project forward.
